Joseph A. Zummo oversees the day-to-day operations at the Global Family of Companies and provides leadership and direction to all employees. Joe has been with Global Storage Partners since 2008 and is primarily responsible for executing the investment and management policies for the company. Mr. Zummo has over 36 years of experience in commercial real estate with a background in acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, asset & property management, land subdivision, self-storage conversions and retail out-parcel creation.
Prior to joining Global, Mr. Zummo worked at Mammoth Equities as the Regional Director for Southern California where he was responsible for overseeing development, leasing and property management for all Mammoth Equities properties in the Southern California area. The Mammoth Equities regional portfolio under Mr. Zummo’s direction exceeded 1 million square feet.
Prior to joining Mammoth Equities, Mr. Zummo was involved with various other commercial real estate firms where his responsibilities included development, leasing, acquisitions/dispositions and property management.
Mr. Zummo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance, real estate & law from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and holds a California real estate broker license. He is active in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Self Storage Association (SSA), and is an Allied Member of American Institute of Architects (AIA).
