Christopher Swanson, Vice President Project Management & Development, plays an integral role in all project development aspects including acquisition, entitlement, design, construction management and project valuation.  Mr. Swanson joined the team in 2012 as Vice President and has been instrumental in Global Storage Partners expansion throughout the United States.

Mr. Swanson brings over 30 years in the commercial real estate industry wide breadth of experience ranging from architecture, development, budgetary management, financing, and commercial leasing.  Mr. Swanson’s visionary skill for renovation of distressed properties has been of exceptional value to the firm.  Prior to joining Global Storage Partners, Mr. Swanson was Regional Director for Mammoth Equities, LLC where he developed new office holdings of over 500,000 square feet. His oversight resulted in the highest price per square foot paid for a commercial office building in the state at the time of sale for its type.

Mr. Swanson has also held real estate management positions in Washington State with KDF Architecture, Wright Runstad & Company and Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company. His responsibilities with these firms included commercial project design, budgeting, financing, project valuation and construction management.

Mr. Swanson is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. During his career, Mr. Swanson has been active in multiple civic organizations involving commercial real estate and community planning. Mr. Swanson resides in Scottsdale, Arizona.
